The nose is fruity, with a certain restrained power, a very fine grain and an airy peppery side. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, crushed strawberry, and small notes of crushed cassis, small wild red berries, associated with a hint of bright violet plum and a subtle hint of cherry blossom and spice. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, with a fresh, tangy frame, energy, finely tight and unctuous. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, unctuous cherry and small notes of small, fleshy red berries, associated with touches of licorice stick, chocolate as well as hint of toasted hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are mellow with a chewy.
