The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of crushed wild raspberry, redcurrant and slight hints of blackberry combined with slight toasted touches and an imperceptible touch of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers juiciness, fat and an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ ripe redcurrant and juicy raspberry combined with subtle toasted hints, vanilla, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible touch of cardamom and Ceylon tea (in the background). Tannins are a bit firm. Good length.
