The nose is fruity and offers elegance, a fine concentration as well as a fine racy / limestone power. There are notes of ripe blackberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly pulpy cassis associated with small touches of violet, blueberry as well as fine hints of zan, a subtle hint of graphite and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, elegant, balanced and offers gourmandize, a nice definition, richness in its fruit (but in balance), a tangy frame, fat, a nice fine texture as well as a little creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, creamy cassis and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with small touches of blueberry, violet as well as fine hints of caramelization, almond, limestone and a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are precise, elegant and smooth. Good length.
