Château Samion 2018 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is mineral and offers freshness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe / juicy wild red berries and small notes of cornflower combined with very discreet hints of spices and a subtle hint of cardamom (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers minerality, straightness, a good definition, juiciness as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy wild blackberry, ripe / juicy cassis and small notes of juicy red berries associated with a touch of lilac, peony as well as subtle hints of licorice and cocoa bean. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
