Château Saint-Pierre 2021 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, racy and reveals a certain delicacy, a fine floral side and freshness. There are hints of bright cherry, blackcurrant and small notes of blackberry combined with subtle hints of flowers, Cuben pepper as well as subtle hints of zan and a smoky hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, a certain gourmandise, acidity, tension as well as a certain straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of blackcurrant associated with hints of flowers (cornflowers, lily), fine hints of zan as well as a discreet toasted hint and mocha. A fine graphite quality in the background. Good length.
