The nose is elegant, well-built and offers a small gourmandize. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of small ripe red berries associated with hints of tonka bean, toasted touches as well as a very discreet / imperceptible touch of gray pepper (in the background) and toasted almond. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, precise and offers juiciness, a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful freshness as well as a beautiful and a bit tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe strawberries, crunchy / fresh red berries and small notes of black cherry, cassis, fresh raspberry combined with touches of tonka bean, cherry pit, toasted oak as well as a subtle touch of sweet spices / vanilla. Tannins are fine. Good length and good persistence. The finish is a bit powdery. There are a touch of dark chocolate and a touch of caramelization on the persistence.
