The nose is fruity, gourmet, fine and quite generous. It reveals notes of plum, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of red fruit jam as well as a toasted hint and a discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, sleek, mineral, precise, racy as well as offers tension, a silky matter, a nice texture, a good tannic structure and a fine grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with a hint of wild red fruits, a touch of toasted oak as well as discreet hints of spices (cinnamon, cloves). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and good persistence with a hint of cocoa, a discreet roasted hint and toasted hint. The finish is quite suave.
