The nose is aromatic, very finely tight and offers elegance, a fine grain as well as power (full of control). This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of griotte cherry, cornflower, blackberry and small notes of small red fruits, tonka bean, cuben pepper, spices, underwood, a very fine hint of truffle and an imperceptible saline hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize, suavity, a small tension, power, a quite ripe fruit and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quite ripe raspberry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of dry wild strawberry associated with touches of small juicy/pulpy red fruits, violet, lily as well as fine hints of cardamom, clove, a very fine hint of toasted and crushed almond. Tannins are finely marked. A very discreet chew on the finish/persistence.
