The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a certain generosity of the fruit, freshness, tension and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright raspberry, small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with touches of violet, tobacco as well as hints of tonka bean, nutmeg and a discreet hint of toasted. Tannins are finely marked and powdered. A fine hint of caramelization in the finish/persistence.
