The nose is concentrated and offers a small richness. It reveals notes of fleshy wild blackberry, fleshy raspberry and more slightly crushed cassis associated with fine touches of cornflower, liquorice, subtle hints of spices as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fresh, juicy, well-balanced, elegant, precise, racy and offers a beautiul acid frame, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a small aerial side as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly crushed cassis associated with subtle touches of oak, chocolate, almond, nut as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine, straight and slightly firm. Fine power on the finish. Chews and gourmandise on the finish. Beautiful persistence.
