On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of cherry, small crushed red berries as well as a hint of juicy blueberry and tobacco leaf. A very discreet hint of caramelization and toasted almond on the finish/persistence.
