The nose is aromatic and racy. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and racy minerality associated with touches of fresh/juicy red fruits, subtle hints of toasted oak as well as very discreet hints of sugared tobacco and vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers fullness, fat, a juicy frame, a beautiful freshnes as well as a very fine fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy black cherry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of toasted oak, vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of almond. Tannins are well-built. Small chews on the finish.
