The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers certain extent and a certain fullness. There are notes of blackberry, small red currants and more slightly of fresh flowers / geranium associated with touches of fleshy small black fruits as well as hints of nutmeg, white pepper, spices and a very discreet hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a little tight and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/tangy frame, good definition, energy as well as energy/ vibrancy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, cherry and more slightly crunchy cassis associated with touches of fresh / crunchy small fruits, flowers, hints of cocoa, lilac, almond as well as a subtle hint of scrubland, tobacco (in the background) and cloves. Good length and persistence.
