It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly blue berry combined with hints of nutmeg, clove as well as fine pepper and a very discreet dusty/fresh leathery edge. On the palate, fruity, tight, balanced and offers minerality, a juicy/finely acidic frame, tension, power and some concentration and freshness. The wine expresses juicy/acidic blackberry, pulpy black currant and slightly juicy wild berry notes with hints of raspberry/pink currant and hints of violet, clove, nutmeg and a subtle hint of old wood. |
