The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic, fruity and tangy, with a precise mineral (limestone) framework. It expresses notes of fresh red fruits (bigarreau cherry, raspberry, a bitter touch of cranberries), black fruits (blackcurrant, black plum), associated with delicate touches of sweet spices (liquorice, ground cloves, white pepper) and dried red fruits, as well as a hint of dry pine needles. The palate is juicy, supple and fruity. We find the flavors of juicy red cherry, morello cherry, black plum and crushed raspberry, as well as a delicate spiciness (liquorice, white pepper, cloves and a fine vanilla note in the background). The tannic structure is distinguished by a fineness of grain and a velvety touch. The finish expresses the chalky minerality, which we smell on the nose, a salivating acidity and a beautiful freshness of fruit. A gourmand and accessible wine in its youth.
