There are notes of black currant liqueur, liquorice stick and more slightly of black plum combined with hints of roasted red berries and hints of cardamom and toast. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, tension, a fine tightness and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, creamy black berries and more slightly roasted red berries combined with a touch of blueberry, sweet blond tobacco and a hint of vanilla. The tannins offer a fine mellowness.
