The nose is elegant, fine and straight. It reveals slight notes of garrigue, Sichuan pepper and crushed blackberry associated with slight hints of crushed cassis as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and very discreet hints of crushed strawberry. The palate is fruity, nicely elegant, fine, juicy, straight, racy, perfectly controlled and offers tension, a slight freshness, a beautiful definition as well as a small aerial side. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and redcurrant associated with slight hints of crushed raspberry, spices, Sichuan pepper as well as a discreet hint of Ceylan tea and toasted oak/vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and good persistence with a very discreet hint of coffee, slight hints of Sichuan pepper and juicy blackberry.
