The wine has an intense ruby color, shiny and limpid. The first nose is delicate and aromatic with notes of humus and undergrowth. Air accentuates these aromas. We find also little forest fruits such as strawberries and sweet spices like vanilla but also cigar box notes. The attack is fresh and aromatic. We find the same elements as on the nose: the freshness of crunchy forest fruits such as blackberry and strawberry, spices such as pepper and notes of undergrowth. We perceive nice leather and a smoky side. The tannins are smooth. The palate is full-bodied, with roasted aromas such as mocha and cocoa. We also have cherry jam. There is an astringency that continues until the finish. The whole is fresh and complex.
