The wine has got a nice cherry color, limpid and shiny. The first nose is marked by freshness with hints of mint. But also with animal touches of leather and undergrowth. It’s nice. With aeration, these tertiary notes become more intense. There is no fresh fruits but rather cooked fruits. We find plum and black cherry with always leather and ash. Alcohol is present. The attack is fresh. The mouth is immediately marked by notes of leather, black tea and undergrowth. The tannins appear and are powerful, astringent. There is bitterness in the mid-palate. Fresh fruits are in the background such as cherries, blackberries and strawberries. The leather remains the main aroma of this wine until the finish which has a hint of salinity. The whole is persistent.
