On the nose, offers some concentration, fine power and a very fine texture. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, morello cherry and more lightly sophisticated minerality combined with a touch of lilac, gray pepper, ripe berry/ripe strawberry and a discreet hint of nutmeg. On the palate, fruity, tightly close and offers minerality, a little freshness and a fine concentration. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, cherry and more lightly violet combined with hints of juicy/fresh blackberry as well as fine touches of fresh/juicy violet plum, tobacco, licorice and a discreet waft of spice. The tannins are finely dry.
