Château Roquevieille 2024 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose offers a beautiful concentration, juiciness, fruity aromas (red cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, blueberry, red plum, morello cherry), complemented by touches of pine needles, pine bark, toasted wood, toasted hazelnut in the background, a hint of cocoa, sweet wild mint, flowers (violet, peony), a touch of sap and sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg, cardamom). The palate offers a juicy and fruity attack (first on black fruits – blueberry, morello cherry, then – on red fruits – wild strawberry, raspberry), complemented by touches of flowers (violet, peony), herbs and spices (liquorice, nutmeg, cardamom). The tannins are fine and polished, slightly grippy. Beautiful acidity and persistence. Freshness and delicacy.
