The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and crunchy small red fruits associated with touches of spices, toasted as well as a hint of Cuben pepper and racy minerality/graphite. The palate is fruity, juicy, tight, a bit close and offers fat, fullness as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and more slightly juicy raspberry associated with touches of Gariguette strawberry as well as fine hints of zan as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background) and a very fine hint of caramelization/chocolate (in the background). The finish is slightly tight. Tannins are slightly tight. Good fruity/acidulous persistence.
