The nose is mineral, fruity and racy. There are hints of pulpy strawberry, blackberry and a hint of racy minerality combined with touches of crunchy blackcurrant, hints of vanilla and a discreet hint of grey pepper and an imperceptible hint of saffron flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers a certain tension as well as a fine acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/juicy raspberry and more slightly red berry notes combined with hints of violet, toast, chocolate and a hint of pepper and varietal in the background/on the back-palate.
