Château Rollin 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

Château Rollin 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is floral, fresh and relatively aromatic. There are notes of blueberry, violet and, to a lesser extent, pulpy blackcurrant, combined with hints of morello cherry, ripe red berries and hints of zan/black tea. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers juiciness, acidity, freshness, fatness, roundness and airiness in the approach to its richness/roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, fleshy boysenberry and more slightly ripe wild red berry fruit combined with hints of flowers (violet, iris), chocolate, caramelisation and fine toasted hazelnut. The tannins are mellow. A fine chewiness on the finish. Good length.
