The nose is fruity, fresh, floral and offers elegance, a certain intensity as well as a fine tight side currently. This wine needs to be decanted. We find notes of violet, iris and slight notes of licorice stick associated with touches of wild blackcurrant, gray pepper, delicate almost clove-like hints as well as a subtle hint of smoke and toast. The palate is mineral with juiciness, smoothness, suppleness and a nice definition of indulgence with a mineral framework. We have notes of creamy cassis, blackberry and small notes of pulpy purple plums associated with touches of bright cherries and a juicy hint as well as toast, vanilla and a discreet hint of blueberries, iris and vanilla.
