The nose is pretty, fresh, ripe with intensity in its freshness and concentration as well as precise grain. We have notes of bright pulpy blackcurrant, blackberries and slight notes of wild raspberries associated with touches of fresh licorice stick and a discreet hint of fresh cubeb pepper. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced with roundness and smoothness. There is tension and a nice energy as well as a certain fatness. We find notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, creamy blackcurrant and small notes of small roasted red fruits associated with touches of violet, licorice stick and a subtle hint of fresh sap and chocolate. The tannins are supple and fine, soft with a nice freshness.
