(organic, 50% Grenache, 50% Syrah) The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers juiciness, density, beautiful fruity material and complexity. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, roasted red cherry, blackcurrant, bird cherry, crushed strawberry, black plum and prunes (in the background), associated with light smoky, toast, cocoa, toasted almond and aromatic herbs (dried rosemary, thyme, even a hint of sage), as well as flowers in the background (violet, lilac). The palate has a juicy, silky, fruity and airy attack. We find the flavors of tart red cherry, fresh morello cherry, strawberry, bird cherry, blackcurrant and black plum, associated with toasted touches, toasted almond (even cherry stone in the background), smoke, aromatic herbs (fresh rosemary, thyme, a hint of sage) and a good bitterness almost citrus (reminiscent of bergamot). The tannins are young and tight, but softened by a salivating acidity and the fresh and fairly concentrated fruity material. Good persistence in the mouth, on herbaceous and floral notes (thyme, lilac), as well as a woody and toasted side which returns at the very end of the mouth.
