The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a slight charming side. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry and ripe cassis associated with a hint of violet as well as touches of red fruits and a discreet/imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers roundness, suavity as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy strawberry, ripe cassis and slight notes of blackberry associated with a discreet hint of redcurrant, toasted oak, vanilla as well as a discreet hint of sweet spices and flowers. Tannins are well-built and very slightly dusty. Good length and persistence. There is a discreet hint of bitterness on the aftertaste.
