Château Roc de Candale 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is racy and offers power, a fine grain as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of crushed blueberry associated with fine touches of violet, iris as well as subtle hints of small berries and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, mineral and a bright fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, blueberry, small notes violet associated with touches of juicy/Fresh raspberry, violet as well as a subtle hint of toasted, liquorice and sense of the place. Good length.
