Château Roc de Calon 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion 

On the nose it is fruity, it offers intensity, finesse and controlled intensity. It reveals the notes of bright cassis, bright raspberry and more lightly tangy plum associated with blueberry, the zan and fine points of fresh spices. On the mouth it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, fine gourmandize, tangy, fine tension and precision. The wine express notes of pulpy/juicy boysenberry, bright cassis and more lightly bright raspberry combined with hints of fresh/juicy blue currants, cornflower, lilac as well as fine hints of fresh tobacco, discreet hints of clove, toasted almond and chocolate. Good length. The tannins are finely mellow and offer a fine straightness. Very fine chew on the palate/persistence.
