Château Roc de Bécot 2022 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose offers juiciness and maturity. We find aromas of tangy black fruits (fresh blackcurrant, blueberry, crunchy black plum) and red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, fresh red currant), accompanied by notes of fresh mint, thyme, violet, lily, as well as slight spiciness (nutmeg, ground vanilla) and toasted (hazelnut) notes. On the palate, the wine is round, delicate and delicious, with a silky tannic structure. The tannins have a fine grain. The wine expresses the flavors of juicy, generous and ripe red fruits. We find notes of crunchy strawberry, red plum, raspberry, red cherry, red currant and blackcurrant, with fresh notes of menthol and licorice in the background. A wine with juiciness, fluidity and delicacy on the palate, combined with an elegant, but firm tannin structure. Beautiful acidity and persistence on the palate. A wine of pleasure in the future.
