The nose is fresh, complex and shows some intensity, concentration, freshness and a fine crispness. There are notes of crushed peach, fleshy/crushed white berries with hints of star fruit, fresh quince with fine lemon, racy minerality/fresh grapes, subtle/delicate hints of beeswax, spices and a very discreet hint of verbena, fresh sap and brioche. The palate is fruity, focused, precise, technical and demonstrates minerality, freshness, straightness and a mineral backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh apple, crushed peach and, more lightly, counted nectarine, combined with hints of lychee, vanilla, crushed mirabelle plum, as well as fine nuances of sweet spices and a hint of pepper. Good length. Nice freshness and minerality. A very precise, technical and straightforward wine.
