The nose is aromatic, racy and offers gourmandise as well as richness. It reveals notes of fleshy Boysen blackberry and wild strawberries associated with fine touches of crushed redcurrant, chocolate as well as slight touches of toasted oak and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, frank, straight, supple and offers a nice minerality, an acid frame, suavity and a beautiful freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and fleshy / juicy strawberries combined with fine touches of crushed / jammy redcurrant as well as subtle touches of chocolate, vanilla and a very discreet hint of caramelized oak. Tannins are fine and a bit firm / young. Good length and good persistence. There is a hint of dark chocolate and violet on the aftertaste / persistence.
