Château Reynon 2016 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fresh, fruity, slightly tight and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe black berries and fresh/ripe raspberry associated with discreet woody hint, licorice as well as very discreet hints of spices/tea and slight touches of minerality. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers a beautiful tension, a fresh frame, an aerial side, deepness as well as a nice unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry and fresh/ripe strawberry associated with a hint a fresh/ripe small berries as well as hints of licorice, toasted oak and a very discreet hint of praline. Tannins are fine avec very slightly dry. Good length and persistence.
