The nose offers minerality as well as a fine concentration of fruit. The wine benefits from decanting. We find notes of cassis, small roasted red berries and more lightly a camphor, associated with a discreet hint of tobacco and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, a little tight, and offers balance, freshness, a little minerality, a fresh frame as well as a fine linear side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly, little concentrated fruits, associated with touches of tobacco, tonka bean as well as a hint of cardamom, small crushed berries and hints of mocha. Fine hints of roasted fruit. Good length.
