The nose is gourmet. There are notes of liquorice, morello cherry and slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of cardamom, blueberry and fine hints of star anise. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a little roundness/fat, an acidic frame and a good, precise tannic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, crunchy blackcurrant and, more slightly, pulpy raspberry, combined with hints of lily, blueberry, cardamom, as well as discreet hints of coffee, sweet spices and a subtle touch of roasting. The tannins are structuring. Good work on the bitter taste on the finish. Good persistence.
