Château Renard – Mondésir 2019 – Fronsac

On the nose it is fruity and offers freshness, a little minerality, a certain elegance as well as a little airy character. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy / juicy cassis and slightly violet associated with touches of crushed redcurrants, fresh wild raspberry as well as fine hints of licorice, cardamom and a subtle hint of pepper. by Cuben. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a nice tangy structure, roundness, fattiness as well as a fine smoothness. The wine expresses notes of fresh / tangy strawberry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly pulpy / juicy cassis associated with fine touches of violet, lilac, racy minerality as well as fine hints of chocolate and caramelization. The tannins are racy and a bit tight.
