The nose offers concentration, intensity, power in control as well as a certain complexity. It reveals notes of pulpy/fresh wild blackcurrant, creamy blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with a touch of small wild red berries as well as fine hints of pepper and a subtle hint of sense of place (biotop local). The palate is fresh, mineral and offers tension, accuracy, a mineral frame, juiciness, a fine concentration as well as a finely tight grain. Tight and tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small roasted red berries as well as fine hints of pepper, star anise and fresh coffee. Nice freshness and power.
