Château Recougne 2023 – Bordeaux Superieur

The nose is reserved and discreet. After aeration, it expresses notes of tangy black fruits (griotte, blackcurrant, black plum), associated with a touch of red plum and strawberry, as well as a smoky and woody hint. There is also a hint of mint in the background. The palate is fluid, fruity, slightly woody. We find flavors of red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, red plum and cranberries, combined with a woody and toasted touch, as well as a hint of liquorice. The tannins are grippy, but sapid. The acidity is salivating and lively. Juiciness, freshness, good bitterness.
