Château Rauzan-Ségla 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

Château Rauzan-Ségla 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant, velvety, it offers a lovely multi-layered side, a certain spicy intensity, a certain velvety spiciness, complexity and depth. It also presents a nice little aromatic complexity all in accuracy. It reveals notes of small fairly ripe/dense red fruits, blackberry and small notes of graphene, associated with touches of small crushed red fruits, as well as a hint of cornflower, discreet hints of lily and a hint of Timut. The palate is well-built, supple, silky, bright, brilliant, elegant, racy and offers a tangy frame, precision, tension and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of crushed/fairly ripe cherry, combined with touches of small brilliant blue fruits, as well as hints of bright/fleshy raspberry. Good length. The tannins are racy, mellow and finely toasted. Nice little chewiness and notes of toasted hazelnut on the finish/persistence. A wine offering lovely freshness, minerality, brilliance, brightness, a lovely chiselled and bewitching/coating side. Lovely chocolate persistence.
