The nose is fruity and offers concentration, depth, a lovely fine grain stretched and intense and a fine maceration side. It expresses notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and more slightly – lily / violet, associated with touches of warm gravel, small fairly ripe red fruits, pepper, spices, nutmeg, saffron, balsamic and a fine hint almost fresh wisteria. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers suavity, a mineral frame, a nice little floral side, good definition. It expresses notes of juicy / pulpy cherry, violet, wisteria and more slightly – small fresh red fruits, concentrated blackcurrant, associated with touches of racy gravel, as well as discreet hints of pistil, star anise, almost basaltic and pepper, with a subtle hint of crushed almond on the finish / persistence. Nice mellow. A wine that requires time and patience, but offers a lovely roundness and a spherical side. Dense, balanced, deep and dark style. Controlled power. A frank and powerful side. Lovely material and texture in the mouth, good minerality and freshness.
