Château Ramage La Batisse 2022 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and juicy, with fruity, ripe and pleasant notes. There are aromas of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, strawberry, fresh blackcurrant, as well as peppermint, cinnamon, white pepper and licorice. On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, a beautiful balance and flavors of tangy red fruits (cherry, crunchy strawberry, redcurrant), accompanied by notes of blackcurrant, blueberry and morello cherry, as well as notes of dried mint and violet, white pepper and licorice. Beautiful acidity, a refined and velvety texture of tannins (but with a little astringency), balanced by a lively acidity and freshness on the finish. Good persistence.
