Château Ramafort 2019 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

Château Ramafort 2019 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and powerful. At present the nose is a bit rough (it needs time). There are notes of ripe/pulpy blackcurrant, wild blackberry and more slightly racy minerality combined with fine touches of camphor, wild strawberry and fine hints of fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, smoothness, a certain pulpiness of the fruit, a fine crispness and a mineral framework. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cherry, fresh/juicy raspberry and more slightly fresh flowers combined with fine touches of crisp/fresh blackcurrant as well as fine almost purple plum, liquorice and a subtle almost bergamot edge.
