The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, relatively fine and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of cherry and cassis associated with a hint of strawberry, raspberry as well as a touch of spice, oak and discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, gourmande, elegant, sleek, relatively fat and offers a nice finesse, freshness, roundness, a racy minerality, a small juiciness and fresh fruits. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cassis and slight notes of blackberry associated with a hint of redcurrant, a discreet hint of fig, a touch of mocha as well as a fine hint of oak and dark chocolate. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length and persistence. There is a slight touch of salinity on the persistence.
