The nose is fruity, fresh, tense and offers purity as well as a little complexity. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, cassis and slightly violet associated with touches of lilac, ripe blackberries as well as a hint of nutmeg. The palate is leaky, balanced and offers juiciness, a nice freshness, minerality, salinity, a nice definition as well as a nice palatability. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, pulpy / fresh blackcurrant, pulpy raspberry and more slightly fleshy small blue fruits associated with hints of nutmeg, hazelnut as well as discreet hints of pretty bitters, cocoa and of fresh flowers. Tannins are precise and elegant. Good length. Presence of a nice little varietal hint which brings pep / energy on the finish / persistence.
