The nose is aromatic, relatively fine and slightly powerful. It reveals slight notes of flowers, blackberry and discreet hints of red berries associated with a woody hint as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper, spices and a very discreet hint of mocha (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality as well as a fine fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/fresh red berries and touches of cassis, plum associated with discreet hints of fleshy/fresh strawberry as well as slight notes of sweet spices, toasted oak and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Good length and persistence.
