Château Puy Guilhem 2022 – Fronsac

The nose is racy, it benefits from being decanted. We find notes of pulpy wild blackberry, small bright berries, and slight notes of creamy blackcurrant, associated with touches of infusion, chocolate, as well as discreet hints of sweet blond tobacco and vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, with a tangy structure and energy. We find notes of juicy/bright blackberry, bright blackcurrant, and small notes of bright redcurrants associated with touches of violet, blond tobacco, and an almost hint of sage, black olive/infusion, and fine spices. toasted almond. Good length. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. Lovely freshness and gourmandise, with remarkable deepness and aromatic concentration.
