Château Puy Guilhem 2019 – Fronsac

The nose is elegant, racy and offers power, fine deepness as well as good definition. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, ripe blackberries and small notes of ripe / crushed blue berries associated with fine touches of violet, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and caramelization / sweet spices. The palate is elegant, beautifully defined and offers gourmandize, a small unctuosity, a racy minerality as well as a slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of pulpy / juicy / acidulous small blue fruits associated with touches of crushed strawberry as well as slight hints of chocolate and toasted. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
