CHÂTEAU PUY CASTÉRA 2022 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is aromatic and floral, with energy and a little controlled concentration. It reveals notes of rose, fresh violet and small notes of fresh cassis, associated with touches of fresh blackberry, cranberry and a subtle hint of iodine and licorice. The palate is well-built, supple, precise and fresh, with roundness and a delicate fatness. It expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cassis and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of small brilliant red berries, violet and rose. A subtle hint of cranberry and chocolate. Precision and finesse. Tannins are mellow and precise. A hint of eucalyptus in the background (revival on the finish).
