The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of ripe fruit, blackberry, cassis and slight notes of ripe red fruits associated with touches of cornflower as well as slight toasted hints and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky, relatively fat and offers suavity, minerality, freshness, tension and an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry jam and slight notes of small red fruit (cherry, raspberry) associated with touches of toasted oak, licorice, discreet notes of chocolate and a hint of flowers. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with slight toasted notes and hazelnut.
